(1) High production efficiency. The number of parts or process content completed per unit time is several times or even hundreds or thousands of times more than that of general processing methods. In addition, the hardware stamping process can further improve the production efficiency by combining the contents of the first mock examination, multiple parts and multiple processes in one mold.
(2) The product has stable quality and good interchangeability. The use of metal stamping molds to form products results in fewer factors affecting product quality changes and lower levels of harm. Some factors can be corrected through appropriate measures to control the quality of the product within the ideal range, and the stable performance of product quality can effectively ensure its interchangeability. Good interchangeability is the basic guarantee for mass production on assembly lines. It is also beneficial for product maintenance and replacement.
(3) High material utilization rate. By using different layout methods, such as cross, diagonal, multiple, mixed, nesting, and even waste free layout, material utilization can be effectively improved and material costs of the product can be reduced.
(4) The material does not require heating. In general, materials do not require heating during stamping operations. This can not only save energy, reduce the occupation of heating equipment and space, but also avoid the shape and size instability of the product surface caused by oxidation, burns, and deformation due to heating. It can also prevent the adverse effects of temperature rise on the mold.
(5) The mechanical properties of stamping have been improved due to the hardening phenomenon of metal stamping parts. The surface structure of stamping parts is dense, and the hardness and wear resistance are increased. The strength and stiffness of stamping parts have also been improved.
(6) Widely applicable. There are many products suitable for stamping forming, which can solve many processing contents that cannot be completed by general mechanical processing, especially for the processing and forming of thin, soft, difficult, strange, micro parts or non-metallic material parts. Hardware stamping forming is almost the only processing and forming method.
(7) The molding process and basic quality of products with simple operation and low labor intensity for workers are mostly ensured by molds and stamping equipment. The basic actions during the operation process are the same and are not affected by the complexity of the product. There are no excessive technical requirements for operators, and after short-term on-the-job training, operators can start working.
